Preparation for Bat/Bar Mitsva

TSEDEK helps children from disadvantaged backgrounds learn about their religious identity, learn the main teachings of the Torah, in order to celebrate their religious majority.

TSEDEK has developed a year-round programme for these underprivileged children, often without parents, with preparatory courses that conclude with a day celebrating the Bar and Bat Mitsva collectively and solemnly.

TSEDEK also contributed to the purchase of tefilines, talits, sidour, kipa, clothing, as well as to the festive meal held in a reception room. The children also received a personal gift.  For these children, this day was unforgettable, synonymous with celebration, dances with friends, meals and gifts, all imbued with spiritual symbols.
