Support for Ethiopian immigrants

TSEDEK pays particular attention to the issue of the educational, professional and social integration of children from Ethiopia.

Families from Ethiopia are, for the most part, in economic and social difficulties. Adults find it difficult to learn the language, adapt to Israeli lifestyles and, as a result, gain a qualification that would enable them to support their families. Parents’ adaptation difficulties affect children who often experience academic difficulties.

For this reason, TSEDEK is setting up a specific programme for these children and adolescents: adapted school support, sociocultural activities, discovery excursion and of course psychological support, so that they can integrate into Israeli society and become responsible adults.
