Social and Communal Undertakings

Receive and learn to give! Tsedek is committed to ensuring that each child be sensitized to the importance of solidarity and community action.

In this light, the children of Tsedek are associated with a number of social actions that benefit:

  • The elderly: visits in retirement homes, delivery of food packages for the elderly who live alone;
  • The sick and the handicapped: visits in hospitals and moral support to hospitalized children;
  • New immigrants: socio-cultural activities, support of integration of children at school;
  • The poor and disadvantaged: distribution of hot meals and food packages containing basics foods supplied for the holidays;
  • Soldiers; and War victims: multiple activities aimed at supporting populations in distress (support for the people of Northern Israel during the Second Lebanon War, solidarity missions with the children of Sderot and its region, etc.)
